Reserve Doug McDermott scored 29 points to lead the Russell Martin JerseyChicago Bulls to their ninth straight victory over the Toronto Raptors, 109-107 on Monday night.

E'Twaun Moore and Nikola Mirotic added 17 points apiece as Chicago swept Toronto in the series for the second straight season, handing the Raptors just their second loss in their last 16 games at home. Toronto's last win against Chicago was on Dec. 31, 2013.

Jimmy Butler scored 13 points 5-of-18 shooting after missing three games because of knee soreness.

Kyle Lowry had 33 points and 11 rebounds for Toronto, which also got 27 points from DeMar DeRozan.

McDermott nearly matched the season-best 30 points he scored against the Raptors in 116-106 win last month in Chicago. The second-year forward hasn't scored more than 20 points in any other game this season.

Trailing throughout, and by as many as 13 in the fourth quarter, the Raptors closed within four points on a layup by Lowry with 38 seconds to play. The All-Star point guard followed that up with a steal on Mirotic to regain possession. On the inbounds pass, Taj Gibson was called for a foul on Lowry, but Lowry could only make one of his two shots from the free throw line.

Chicago then got whistled for an inbounds violation, allowing DeRozan to cut it to one with 19 seconds remaining. But he was Jordan Zimmermann Jerseysubsequently called for a foul on Mirotic, who stretched the lead to three. Lowry's layup gave the Raptors hope, but Chicago closed out the game with a free throw by Butler.

Chicago took a nine-point lead just 4:11 into the game and forced Raptors coach Dwane Casey to call a timeout. The Raptors scored the next nine points, but despite 11 points from Lowry, Moore countered with 11 of his own as Chicago shot 66.7 percent from the field for a 34-29 edge after one quarter.

McDermott had the points during Chicago's 12-2 run that pushed the lead up to 12, before the Raptors came back to trim the advantage to 58-52 at halftime.

Mirotic's 3-pointer followed by Tony Snell's dunk pushed the Bulls' lead to a 13 points with 2:11 remaining, but Toronto closed out the third quarter with an 8-2 run to close Chicago's advantage to 84-77.
