Rodgers appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday in a pre-taped message to a Madison, Wisconsin, preschool teacher who is donating her kidney to her 4-year-old student.

Battista saw a Facebook post and was so moved that "I just knew I had to call in and get tested." She wasn't even Lyla's teacher at the time she volunteered, although she is her teacher this year.
Rodgers also invited Battista to Lambeau Field for a Packers game.
"I want to do something special for you and your family, so I want to invite you and your family to Green Bay to watch a game," Rodgers told Battista.
"We'll take good care of you, get you on the sideline before the game, say hello, and enjoy a great Packer win," Rodgers said. "Hoping the best for you guys, and can't wait to see you at Lambeau, and Ellen, I love ya."
Lyla's mother, Dena, wrote a letter to Ellen DeGeneres to share the story and appeared with Battista on Monday's show.
